Description:

Polyether polyol (abbreviated as polyether) is an organic polymer, which is obtained by polyaddition reaction of initiator (compound containing active hydrogen group) with ethylene oxide (EO), propylene oxide (PO), butylene oxide (BO) etc. in the presence of catalyst. The largest polyether production is produced by using glycerol (glycerol) as initiator and epoxide (generally PO and EO are used together). By changing the feeding method of PO and EO (mixed or separate), the feeding ratio, the feeding order and other conditions, various general polyether polyols are produced.

Advantages:

Polyether polyol series products are mainly used to prepare rigid polyurethane foam plastics, and are widely used in refrigerators, freezers, refrigerated trucks, insulation boards, pipe insulation and other fields. The products have low thermal conductivity and good dimensional stability, and are also important raw materials for preparing composite polyethers. The production of polyether polyols is mainly used for polyurethane foam plastics in the polyurethane industry. The main varieties include polyoxypropylene polyol and polytetramethylene ether polyol.
