YL-W6400

YL-W6400 is a hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on isophorone diisocyanate; it is used as a curing agent component in waterborne two-component polyurethane coating systems.

Product Details

[Product Characteristics] This crosslinking agent is suitable for aqueous systems. Due to its hydrophilicity, it is easily emulsified in the aqueous phase, even under the shear forces commonly found in commercial applications.

Appearance: Water-white or pale yellow transparent liquid

Non-volatile matter/%: 70.0±2.0
IPDI monomer content/%: ≤0.4
Viscosity/(cp, 25℃): 600~1200

[Applications] Flooring, running tracks, wood coatings, industrial coatings

YL-W6400 can be diluted with esters, ether esters, xylene, and naphtha 100. It generally has good compatibility with these solvents, but the stability of the prepared solution must still be tested. Polyurethane-grade solvents (water content less than 0.05%, and the solvent must not contain active groups such as hydroxyl or amino groups) should be used.
