YL-W6901A is a crosslinking agent suitable for water-based systems, enhancing the system's bonding stability and chemical resistance. It balances moderate hydrophilicity with high functionality; the introduction of organosilicon segments into the hydrophilic groups significantly enhances the water resistance of the coating film. It emulsifies easily under aqueous phase and common commercial shear conditions, resulting in coatings with high gloss and low haze.

This product has low viscosity and good dispersibility. When mixed with polyol dispersions, it can be used directly or with the addition of a small amount of organic co-solvent to control viscosity increase. Water-based two-component polyurethane coatings prepared with it exhibit high gloss, high hardness, excellent physical properties, and excellent water and chemical resistance.

Furthermore, YL-W6901A can also be used as a crosslinking aid for water-based polyols, compatible with most neutral water-based polymer dispersions (such as polyurethane, polyvinyl acetate resin, polyacrylate, and synthetic rubber dispersions).
