Recently, Yelechem announced the successful development of an environmentally friendly waterborne polyurethane resin with high gloss and ultra-high hardness, marking a major breakthrough in the field of high-performance applications of waterborne polyurethane materials. While maintaining excellent environmental performance, the product's gloss, hardness and scratch resistance have reached the industry's leading level. It can be widely used in high-end wood coatings, automotive repair paints, 3C electronic product coatings and industrial protection, providing a new solution for green high-performance coatings.
Technological breakthrough: taking into account both environmental protection and performance
Traditional waterborne polyurethane resins are often difficult to match solvent-based products in hardness and gloss, which limits their application in the high-end market. Through precise molecular structure design and nano-composite modification technology, the R&D team of XX Company has successfully improved the cross-linking density and surface flatness of the resin, making its hardness reach more than 3H (pencil hardness) and gloss (60°) more than 95GU, while also having excellent chemical resistance and impact resistance. In addition, the resin adopts a solvent-free water-based system, and the VOC content is far lower than the national standard, which meets the requirements of global environmental regulations.
